The Application

Check out the Character List for available spots; and choose an available (and reasonable) PB. PBs listed here are already taken. Also, please choose a good picture, and make sure the link works! Sometimes, "hotlinking" a picture from a gallery site will create an error message when clicked. The picture you link will be the one used for the PB page.

Classes. Fourth and Fifth Years are required to take: Astronomy, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration; and at least two electives: Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, Muggle Studies (mandatory this year). Sixth and Seventh Years may only take classes in which they received passing OWLs. After OWLs, students may drop any of their core classes. This year, they are required to take Muggle Studies and Health Science.

Copy/paste and fill out the application in your journal (or character's journal).

Remember that elaboration is the key to most applications and in general, applications with only a paragraph for personality and history may be rejected for being too vague or one-dimensional. If your application can answer these questions (what are your character's strengths and weaknesses? Do they have any hobbies? What are their fears? What are their goals? For any adjective used to describe them (e.g. shy, smart, haughty), ask why are they that way. etc.), then that's wonderful!

What do we mean by elaboration? Check our sample applications here and here for an idea.

Note: If you would like your character to be considered for prefect and/or a quidditch player, please include some sort of history/personality into your application about what would make them qualified for the said position (e.g. if they are smart and responsible, or enjoy flying, etc.). You may say they made it on the Quidditch team in years prior in their history, but please don't say they were made Prefect as those positions will be decided by the mods and/or voted by existing players.

	While we find the character interesting, she still needs further elaboration. We are considering Roxanne Weasley to be younger than Fred, who we would prefer to be a 5th yr student. Thus, Roxy would be an NPC and not available to play in our game though you are more than welcome to apply for a different character. (Reply to this) (Parent)
